Heat pump hot water

A heat pump water heater uses electricity and heat from the surrounding air to heat water. It typically uses much less energy than a standard electric storage water heater, and it lets you move off gas for hot water.

Replacing gas or LPG hot water

A licensed plumber disconnects and caps the gas supply, removes the old water heater, installs the heat pump and connects the water. A licensed electrician completes the electrical connection. You receive a plumbing compliance certificate and a Certificate of Electrical Safety.

Choosing the right system

We look at how many people live in the home, how much hot water you use and where the unit will go. Heat pumps need good airflow, a suitable spot for noise and a safe drain point for the relief valve. We give you the relevant product information and sizing advice before you agree to anything.
